I've said it before! Turn up the volume.

It has been a week and a day since the election. I have shared the joy of the electoral process with you, and I deeply appreciate the support I've received from my family, friends, and some 40,000 people who voted for me.

If you are tracking the election, you may have seen these two pages. They are very interesting and helpful in evaluating the vote counting process. For those who may ask, I believe that the 9 counties are properly counting, and accounting for, the returned ballots.

In the last couple of days, I've lost about 2% of the vote total which reflects over 1000 real votes. I believe this is a reflection of the imbalance between the number of Democrats and Republicans in the district. If the current trajectory holds, I don't see a path to move on to the General Election in November.

There will be more to come as the final results are tallied. The date that the Secretary of State will finalize the vote is July 10. I expect we will know the reality of the final votes by sometime next week.
