Although we are getting out of birds for now we’re still going to keep these beauties along with our mandarins. We hope to revamp one day.
We will be downsizing our animals (mainly birds) here soon. We are still in trying to figure out the details but should get it figured out within a couple of days. I know we will continue with owlbeards, calls, sebastopol, and Egyptians.

What a busy weekend it was. We added some peafowl to our little hobby farm and got our first hopefully fertilized mandarin egg! 2025 is seeming to be a fun year for hatching but next years looking even better!
These are the two young calls that might replace the drake I had mentioned previously
Nice little video of one of the call drakes that might be getting replaced soon. Not a terrible looking guy though just a little too big.

We took very few birds to the Southeast Ohio Poultry Breeders Association and came out with some awards!

Just added a new but unrecognized breed to the flock. This lovely breed is the Lemon Owlbeard. We still plan to show them to hopefully get their name out there.

Can’t wait to go to Ohio Nationals with these guys. They’re not the only birds we’re taking, but we’re the most excited for these birds. Huge thanks to Curtis Oakes and Duck Hollow Farm Home of Milliman Waterfowl for getting us some amazing Brown China geese 😊
