🎓 Congratulations to Our Campus Manager, Moses! 🎓

Today, the Wanda’s Way Homes family had the honor of celebrating a very special milestone. Our Campus Manager, Moses, officially walked across the stage to celebrate his high school graduation.

Although he completed high school years ago, he never had the opportunity to participate in a graduation ceremony. Today, he finally got that moment, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Moses is more than a staff member—he is a leader, mentor, and role model to the 31+ men we serve on our campus. As a certified Case Manager and Peer Support Professional, he works every day to help individuals navigate recovery, overcome barriers, and build better futures for themselves and their families.

At Wanda’s Way Homes, we believe in second chances, personal growth, and creating opportunities for people who have overcome adversity. Many of our staff members have lived experiences that allow them to connect with and inspire the individuals we serve. Moses embodies that mission every single day.

His journey is a reminder that it’s never too late to accomplish your goals. Whether it’s earning a diploma, obtaining a certification, finding recovery, securing employment, or pursuing a dream you’ve put on hold—your story is still being written.

Please join us in congratulating Moses on this well-deserved achievement! We are proud to have him as part of the Wanda’s Way Homes team and grateful for the impact he continues to make in the lives of our clients.

🎉 Congratulations, Moses! Your Wanda’s Way Homes family is cheering you on!

Tonight, some of our Wanda Way Homes clients had the opportunity to do something a little different in their recovery journey by visiting Madies House in Mount Airy for an evening of fellowship, support, and fun.

Madies House offers a unique recovery environment where individuals can attend NA meetings, connect with others in recovery, enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, participate in games, and spend time in a welcoming, supportive community. The beautiful property provides a refreshing change of pace and a reminder that recovery can include joy, connection, and healthy recreation.

Our clients enjoyed meeting new people, sharing experiences, attending recovery meetings, and simply having a positive night surrounded by others who understand the journey.

At Wanda Way Homes, we believe recovery is about more than sobriety—it’s about building a meaningful life, creating healthy connections, and discovering new opportunities for growth. We’re grateful for community partners like Maddie’s House that provide safe spaces where individuals can continue to heal and thrive.

Thank you, Maddie’s House, for welcoming our clients and helping make recovery a positive and engaging experience.

💜 Wanda Way Homes Success Spotlight 💜

Today, we are proud to recognize Jazmine, who has given her consent to be publicly recognized for this achievement.

Over the past couple of months, Jazmine has emerged as a leader within our recovery community. She consistently encourages others, helps ensure residents get to their AA and NA meetings, and demonstrates the kind of servant leadership that strengthens recovery for everyone around her.

We are excited to celebrate a major milestone in her journey. Jazmine was recently awarded a full scholarship through the Mental Health Council to complete her 40-Hour Peer Support Training Program.

At Wanda Way Homes, we believe recovery is about more than sobriety—it is about discovering purpose, building leadership skills, and creating opportunities for long-term success. Jazmine’s scholarship is a reflection of the potential others see in her and the leadership she already demonstrates every day.

Representation in recovery matters. Many individuals from underserved communities face barriers to accessing mental health and recovery support. Having more women of color serving as Peer Support Specialists helps create pathways for others to seek help, find hope, and see themselves reflected in the recovery community.

Jazmine, we are incredibly proud of you and grateful for the positive example you set for others. We look forward to watching you continue to grow and make an impact in the lives of those seeking recovery.

Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement! 🎉💜

🏡💜 We love highlighting residents who are turning their recovery into purpose and leadership. Congratulations, Jazmine!

🎉💜 WANDA WAY HOMES SUCCESS SPOTLIGHT 💜🎉

A few weeks ago, we celebrated Megan as she prepared to take the next step in her recovery journey by enrolling in her 40-hour Certified Peer Support training. Today, we are excited to share that Megan officially passed her Peer Support Certification Exam with an outstanding score of 92%! 👏🏽🎓

At Wanda Way Homes, we believe recovery is about more than staying sober—it is about creating opportunities, building careers, and helping people discover their purpose. We were proud to sponsor Megan’s 40-hour Peer Support training and continue supporting her as she works through the final steps of obtaining her NPI and Medicaid provider numbers so she can begin her career in the behavioral health and recovery field.

One of the things we take the most pride in at Wanda Way Homes is helping break down barriers that often prevent individuals in recovery and reentry from achieving employment. Whether it’s transportation assistance, workforce development, certifications, job readiness support, or professional development opportunities, we are committed to helping our residents move from surviving to thriving.

Megan’s success is a reminder that recovery works, second chances matter, and when people are given support and opportunity, amazing things can happen. We cannot wait to see the lives she impacts as a future Peer Support Specialist, using her lived experience to help others find hope, healing, and recovery.

Please join us in congratulating Megan on this incredible accomplishment! 🎉

Wanda Way Homes would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Victoria of Victoria Lane Boutique for her generous donation of clothing to support individuals in our recovery housing program.

Many of the men and women entering recovery are rebuilding their lives from the ground up and often arrive with very few personal belongings. Donations like these help restore dignity, confidence, and hope as they take steps toward a brighter future.

We are incredibly grateful for community partners like Victoria who continue to invest in the well-being of others and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

If you or your organization would like to support Wanda Way Homes, we are always accepting donations of clothing, hygiene products, pots and pans, household items, and other essential needs for our residents.

To learn more about donating, please send us a direct message.

Thank you again, Victoria Lane Boutique, for your generosity and commitment to serving our community. ❤️

🎉 BIG NEWS! 🎉

Wanda Way Homes is honored to announce that Generation NOW has received a $15,000 Boots on the Ground Fund grant to support our Recovery Housing Program! 💖🏡

This funding will help us continue providing safe and supportive housing, recovery-focused programming, workforce development resources, peer support, and opportunities that help residents build stable and successful futures.

Every dollar invested in recovery creates hope, strengthens families, and transforms lives. We are grateful to the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the City of Cincinnati for believing in community-based organizations that are making a difference every day.

Thank you to our residents, staff, partners, volunteers, and supporters for being part of this journey.

Grateful to share that Wanda Way Homes 🏡Recovery Housing Initiative has been awarded an additional $15,000 grant to support our mission of providing safe, stable recovery housing and supportive services for individuals rebuilding their lives after substance use challenges.

This funding will help us continue meeting the housing and recovery needs of our residents while creating a community where healing, accountability, and hope can thrive. We are incredibly thankful to our funding partners and everyone who believes in the work we are doing.

This Memorial Day weekend, we’re also focused on relapse prevention through connection and community. Many of our residents will be attending AA and NA meetings, and we’ll be hosting a Movie Night with pizza and popcorn, a campus brunch, and a Memorial Day barbecue and bonfire with games and fellowship.

Recovery can feel lonely, especially during holidays. That’s why creating positive experiences, healthy outlets, and a sense of belonging is so important. Recovery isn’t just about staying sober—it’s about building a life worth celebrating.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Wanda Way Homes and the people we serve. ❤️🏡
