When Cincinnati needed a little extra help, our community showed up. Swipe to see the impact.

This month's Don't Dump the 'Nati! event included expanded capacity to help residents dealing with debris from the recent flash floodingβ€”and wow, did Cincinnati deliver.

Together, we collected:
πŸ—‘οΈ 147,000 lbs of landfill waste
🌿 14,000 lbs of landscape debris
πŸͺ¨ 3,000 lbs of rock debris
πŸ›ž 300+ tires
πŸ’» 2,700 lbs of e-waste
πŸ”© 4,250 lbs of scrap metal
πŸ“¦ 2,000 lbs of recyclables

A huge thank you to every resident who participated, our incredible staff and volunteers, and presenting sponsors Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, the City Of Cincinnati Government Department of Public Services and Office of Environment & Sustainability, and The Gorilla Glue Company. Together, we're not just cleaning up after storms, we're helping to prevent illegal dumping all year long.

Now swipe through to see what we accomplished together. ➑️

Today's Don't Dump The 'Nati! hit different.

After the historic flash flooding across Cincinnati this month, our monthly waste diversion event was quickly expanded to help. Neighbors brought damaged belongings, yard debris, and building material, and KCB staff showed up to meet the need.

Massive thanks to our volunteers who help make it happen πŸ™Œ and a special shout-out to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Zoo Teens for lending their energy today πŸ¦πŸ’š

None of this happens without our presenting sponsors Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, the City Of Cincinnati Government Department of Public Services, and The Gorilla Glue Company. They make it possible for Cincinnatians to drop off yard waste, tires, e-waste, scrap metal, batteries, and more at NO cost. Their support mattered more than ever this month.

DON'T DUMP THE 'NATI!
Bring your unwanted waste items and help keep Cincinnati beautiful!

πŸ“† Friday, July 31
⏰ 9AM–1PM
πŸ“ 841 W 6TH ST.

Made possible by presenting sponsors Keep Cincinnati Beautiful (KCB), the City of Cincinnati/Department of Public Services, and The Gorilla Glue Company, Don’t Dump the β€˜Nati! provides a vital resource for residents by offering a free, centralized drop-off location to dispose of and recycle items that frequently contribute to illegal dumping or end up taking up crucial space in local landfills.

In response to the devastating flash flooding that recently impacted neighborhood residents and local businesses, KCB is expanding capacity for this month’s waste diversion event. By scaling up capacity and staffing for this month's event, KCB is directly answering the immediate call for disaster recovery assistance.

Whether it’s cheering on the Reds, touring the Rumpke Recycling Facility, or moving what felt like an endless amount of furniture, equipment and supplies into our new headquarters in the historic Harry Hake Building in Walnut Hills, it's been a very active summer!

Every team-building event and every box we’ve lifted has made us a stronger team, ready to increase our impact and do even more for the Cincinnati neighborhoods we love. πŸ’š

We loved meeting concertgoers in the Village Green to share our mission and talk about ways we can all help keep our communities clean and green.

Congratulations to Caitlin Z. for winning a special gift for her contribution to Keep Cincinnati Beautiful at the concert! And thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, learn more about our work, and show your support.
