Just returned from Montreal for the Festival International de Casteliers. What an amazing week! I performed my new work in progress, Sleeping Giant at the . Saw incredible shows every day and got to hang with a really fun community of artists and enthusiasts for creative puppetry performance. Magnifique! Already looking forward to next year.

Each puppet is a specific individual, sometimes based on real people, but always with an identity all their own. They are who they are, no puppet can pretend to be anyone else. I meet them only after I've made them.
