Van Halen hit Jimmy Kimmel Live on Hollywood Boulevard, ready to tear into “Panama” — and right out of the gate, David Lee Roth did what Diamond Dave does…
He went full showman.
Twirling the baton / mic-stand-style prop, working the crowd, bringing that classic DLR swagger — and then BAM…
Dave accidentally clipped himself right in the nose and busted himself open.
Blood. Live TV. Van Halen still playing. Eddie holding it down. Alex and Wolfgang driving the train. Dave trying to keep going before finally heading offstage to get patched up.
And then?
He came back bandaged up and finished the show.
That’s the part that makes this legendary.
