Musicians for Health
An organization for musicians to help cure disease through awareness, fundraising and sound.
Musicians for Health will produce and promote live musical performances to help support a variety of medical organizations and institutions. Our first project is "Unexpected Journey," an original Jazz composition by Zac Greenberg to benefit the Barrett Cancer Center at the University of Cincinnati. "Unexpected Journeys" will be performed on Sunday, April 26, at The Redmoor. For tickets, visit https://www.regonline.com/musiciansforhealth or call 513-558-6342.

This week on Brain Food we have Dayna Ritchy. Join our host, Zac Greenberg, and his guest, Dayna Ritchey, as they discuss dementia and music. Link in bio!
Dayna is the Program Director for the Greater Cincinnati and Miami Valley chapters of the Association. Dayna is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), and unfortunately has a lot of hands-on experience with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. She was a caregiver to her mother, who died of Alzheimer’s and her father-in-law, who passed from frontotemporal dementia.
You can learn more about Alzheimer’s and Dementia and the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org. We have a couple of good articles on the use of art and music for people living with dementia as well as how it can help a caregiver stay calm.
This week we have physical therapist and jiu jitsu/muay thai black belt Matt Villalobos! Join us as we talk about martial arts, physical therapy, mental health, and more. Link in bio!
Episode 2 of Brain Food 2025 is live! Head to our YouTube and check out Rabbi Zach Fredman talk about music, history, and spirituality! Link in bio
