I just wanted to provide some helpful tips for those attending Jurassic Races this weekend. It’s gonna be beautiful weather, but as we have typically experienced these past three years, it will be a little warmer, but lower  humidity this year, which is good news!

Race Day Tips for a Fossil-Free Experience:

🧴 Bring your own water, we will have water available for the runners. But always better safe than sorry.
Concessions will be available, but lines have historically been long.
🦕 Do NOT arrive in costume
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring your dinosaur suit to change into closer to your race time — this helps prevent overheating.
☀️ Plan for warm weather
Expect to be outdoors and in the sun, so bring sunscreen, hats, and anything else to stay cool. There will be shaded areas available as well.
🎟️ Planning to stay for the live races?
The general crowd will begin arriving around 3:00 PM for registration — plan accordingly!
🚗 Best parking tip:
Use Gate 8 and park in the lot closest to the track for easiest access.
