Our President & CEO, John Banchy, served as emcee for the Children Services Levy press conference yesterday, joining community leaders, advocates, and organizations committed to strengthening support for children and families throughout Hamilton County.

Thank you to , Cincinnati Regional Chamber, Talbert House, Beech Acres Parenting Center, League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area, Cincinnati AFL-CIO Labor Council, Necco, Hamilton County Jobs and Family Services Lighthouse Youth & Family Services, Family Nurturing Center, NewPath Child & Family Solutions, bi3, County Commissioners, Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney, and the many others who care about abused and neglected children in our community.

Budget Bootcamp is back, and we’re looking for volunteers to help bring this hands-on experience to life on November 6 or 13!

Students will take part in a “Game of Life” simulation, stepping into assigned roles and navigating decisions around careers, education, family, income, and everyday expenses. It’s a fun way for them to see how financial choices can shape a budget and their future!

Volunteers will guide students through a pre-designed activity at one of our game stations, offering encouragement and helping keep the experience moving. No financial background needed - just a willingness to jump in and have fun!

Their team spent time organizing and refreshing the clothing area of our Resource Center, helping create a more welcoming and efficient space for the individuals and families we serve. They also assisted with assembling yard signs to support upcoming community outreach efforts.

Last weekend, Best Point was proud to support su***de prevention and mental health awareness at the 3rd Annual Sneaker Ball hosted by Confidential Confessions Counseling Services, PLLC. We are grateful to stand alongside community partners who are helping break the stigma and create conversations that encourage hope, healing, and connection. 💙

Best Point is looking for a Mental Health Group Specialist to help create safe, structured, and engaging environments for children and adolescents facing academic and behavioral challenges.

In this role, you’ll lead treatment groups, support therapeutic and developmental needs, and help young people build skills and confidence along the way.
