We are proud to recognize Ahdonus C. of the Sanford Terminal as our June Employee of the Month for 2025! Ahdonus joined Modern Transportation just three months ago, but in that short time, he has made an exceptional impression on both our team and our customer.

A recent shout-out from from a customer said:

“I wanted to highlight a driver of yours that is doing an amazing job. Ahdonus C. is our day shift onsite Modern driver, and we couldn’t ask for a more helpful, happy, better driver. He comes in every day with a good attitude, always ready with a smile, willing to help, wears his PPE, gets trailers moved and unloaded quickly, and has gone a step further and texts me the trailers on site every morning.
He saw me one day out in the dropped trailer lot, checking paperwork and seeing what we have on site, came over and introduced himself and said he could save me from doing this if I wanted him to text me the trailers. He has faithfully been sending me dropped trailers daily. This saves me time, and I can focus on other things, and he seems happy to help. He has such a pleasant demeanor and it’s always a pleasure to see him.”

Terminal Manager Michael W. added:
“Ahdonus has a great attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to satisfy both the customer and his coworkers. He always has an upbeat, positive attitude when you call, and he never complains. After receiving the email from our customer, I feel this recognition is more than well-deserved, especially given the short time he has been with us.”
