John came to Neyer with years of plumbing experience already under his belt and was hired by Ken Neyer Sr. as a journeyman plumber. Over the years, he has worked in just about every area of the business, including service, construction, site utilities, backflow prevention, and safety.

If you ask around Ken Neyer Plumbing, John is probably best known as the company’s “backflow guy” and for the role he has played in helping keep safety front and center for generations of employees.

One of John’s favorite memories goes back to a water service repair on Route 128. John was down in the ditch when Ken Sr. showed up in Dockers and a button-up shirt. When he saw John needed help, he climbed right in without worrying about his clothes. John still remembers it because it captured the kind of person Ken Sr. was: if someone needed help, he jumped in.

That same spirit of teamwork has been part of John’s career for decades.

Thank you, John, for 35 years of knowledge, leadership, and dedication to Ken Neyer Plumbing and the people around you.
