The Delhi Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 19-year-old Sultanna Banks, who was last seen around midnight on August 2, 2026, at her home in Delhi Township.
Her family is concerned for her welfare due to a medical condition requiring medication and ongoing mental health concerns. She is known to frequent the downtown Cincinnati area, including Fountain Square, and Price Hill.

Critical Missing Adult

Foley Road Closure

Beginning today through August 18, 2026, weather permitting, the Hamilton County Engineer's Office has closed Foley Road between Neeb Road and Alomar Drive in Delhi Township to replace a pipe beneath the roadway.

Detour Route:

Neeb Road → Delhi-Anderson Ferry Road → Foley Road
The same route applies in the opposite direction.

Motorists should expect additional travel time and are encouraged to avoid the area whenever possible while this necessary work is underway.

School Supply Drive

The Delhi Township Police Department, in partnership with the Delhi Skirt Game, the Delhi Branch Public Library, and Shiloh United Methodist Church, is collecting school supplies to benefit students in the Oak Hills Local School District.

Community members are encouraged to donate new school supplies through August 9 at any of the following drop-off locations:

VEHICLE TAMPERING-ARRESTS MADE

Early this morning, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Delhi Township Police officers were dispatched to the Veridian Apartments in the 5000 block of Delhi Road after receiving a report of two individuals trying door handles on parked vehicles.

The suspects were dressed in dark clothing, wearing masks, and carrying backpacks. Officers quickly converged on the area and located the suspects actively checking vehicle door handles in the parking lot. Officers were able to approach them on foot before the suspects started to run away. Officers were quickly able to take the juveniles into custody.

The suspects are juveniles, ages 13 and 14. One of the juveniles is the same individual Delhi officers arrested in May of this year after stealing a vehicle, crashing it into a utility pole at approximately 3:15 a.m., and fleeing on foot.

Both juveniles were charged with Criminal Mischief and Curfew Violations before being transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

At this time, we do not believe any thefts occurred, as the juveniles were apprehended before they were able to locate and enter an unlocked vehicle.

This incident is another reminder to always lock your vehicle doors, remove valuables from plain sight, and report any suspicious activity immediately. If you see suspicious activity occurring, call 911 immediately. Your call could help prevent the next crime.

UPDATE-

With the help of Flock cameras and the Mason Police Department, we were able to safely locate Mr. Bauer. We appreciate the support provided by the numerous law enforcement agencies throughout the Tri-State area who assisted in the search and helped bring this incident to a safe conclusion.

SILVER ALERT – MISSING 86-YEAR-OLD DELHI MAN
The Delhi Township Police Department is asking for the public's immediate assistance in locating 86-year-old William Bauer, who was reported missing Monday afternoon.
William left his home in Delhi Township at approximately 2:00 p.m. to travel to an appointment about two miles away but never arrived. He has not been seen or heard from since.
William was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white and yellow checkered shirt. He is driving a blue 2024 Kia Seltos.
William is believed to be suffering from dementia. Because of his cognitive impairment, there is significant concern for his safety.
At approximately 4:09 p.m., William's vehicle was captured by a Flock Safety camera in the area of Interstate 71 and Smith Road in Norwood. Family members advised that William previously lived and worked in the Norwood area, and investigators believe he may be attempting to return to a familiar location.
Anyone who sees William Bauer or his vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Delhi Township Police Department at 513-922-0060.

Juveniles Apprehended Following Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins on Delhi Road

On July 14th, the Delhi Township Police Department apprehended three juveniles in connection with a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles along Delhi Road.

During the investigation, officers recovered several stolen items, including a laptop computer, shoes, sunglasses, a phone charger, a purse, and Pokémon cards. Officers determined that the thefts occurred at the following locations:

5320 Delhi Rd. (Delhi Estates)
5201 Delhi Rd. (Chipotle)
5051 Delhi Rd.
Most of the recovered property has been matched with its owners; however, investigators believe there may be additional victims. If your vehicle was rummaged through or property was stolen on July 14th between approximately 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at any of the locations above, and you have not yet reported the incident, please contact the Delhi Township Police Department at (513) 922-0060.

The investigation is ongoing as officers work to identify additional victims and return recovered property to its rightful owners.
