Our team spent the school year mentoring a third‑grade class at Silverton Elementary through Adopt A Class, discovering how consistency builds trust, belonging, and safe adults. Last week, our staff and grantee partners from the Youth Organizing Cohort spent time learning and reflecting at the Legacy Sites in Montgomery, Alabama, which invite visitors to reckon with our history of racial injustice. The Legacy Sites provide a powerful reminder that our shared past shapes our present and our future. We're grateful to our partners at The Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions for bringing us all together in Montgomery.
