Join us for the Barchetta Collection Event, an exclusive experience featuring a private showcase of extraordinary hypercars from The Barchetta Collection at MOTA Car Club. Javante was ready for a change, and he made it happen. He not only graduated from the Technician Training Program, but was hired at Performance Kings Honda just two weeks into training.

When Jacob was 19, his grandmother brought him to Santa Maria because she believed he could find direction here.

He was unsure of his path, but willing to take the first step. Through Santa Maria’s Workforce Development program, Jacob connected with support that helped him explore his goals, build confidence, and find a career path that truly fit.

With guidance from Angela, his case manager, Jacob enrolled in ChangingGears' Automotive Technician Training Program, earned his certification, and was hired at Jeff Wyler Honda. Now 22, he’s working in a field that energizes him and building a future he’s proud of.

“If I could have done this earlier, I would have,” Jacob said. “I came so far that I wouldn’t have even believed it. We go over my goals, and I accomplished everything. I was putting goals on there that I didn’t even know I could do.”

Jacob’s journey is a reminder of what can happen when someone has the right support, the right opportunity, and people in their corner who believe in them. 💪

After seven years incarcerated, Ruthie chose a new path forward. Through the JumpStart program, she grew into a leader, mentoring others and building purpose and support.

Today she works as a Peer Supporter at Lumiere Healing Center, helping others in recovery.

“It’s a sense of freedom,” she said. “I’m living proof there is a better way of living.”

Last week, the amazing team at Taglio surprised us with lunch for our staff, simply because they wanted to give back. It was a wonderful way to bring everyone together, and let's just say... there weren't many leftovers!
