Why pay hundreds for new cabinets when quality options are already waiting for a second life?
Building Value currently has a large selection of freestanding kitchen and storage cabinets, all priced individually and ready for your next project. Whether you're updating a rental property, tackling a DIY renovation, creating workshop storage, finishing a basement, or replacing damaged cabinets, we've got options in a variety of sizes, styles, and finishes.
Many stock cabinets sold through home improvement retailers can cost up to $180 for a single unfinished base cabinet, with larger pantry and specialty cabinets costing significantly more.
At Building Value, you'll find cabinet doors, drawer bases, pantry cabinets, wall cabinets, and complete cabinet sections for a fraction of what many homeowners expect to pay.
Inventory changes daily, so stop by often to see what's new. π 4040 Spring Grove Ave.
Have cabinets you need removed? We can help! Contact Brieann Sherlock at (513) 740-1067 or [email protected], or visit our website to learn more about cabinet removal and donation opportunities: https://buildingvalue.org/contact-us/

We had the pleasure of hosting Do It Yourself Darlin for their Houses 101 workshop last Saturday, and it was everything we hoped for and more.

The energy in the room was fantastic, and it's moments like these that remind us why we love being a gathering place for our community.
A HUGE thank you to Annie from Do It Yourself Darlin and Rhett Harkins for bringing their knowledge, enthusiasm, and expertise to our space. You all are incredible. π

We're thrilled to announce that Toyota Boshoku America has renewed their commitment to Building Value and we couldn't be more grateful.
Their first gift of $10,000 made a real difference by providing essential PPE to participants in the Building Value Construction Training Program and funded the cleaning and repair of our loading dock--keeping our team safe and our facility ready for the work ahead.
Now, they've done it again. Toyota Boshoku America has recommitted another $10,000 to support our Construction Training Program, ensuring we can continue equipping community members with the hands-on skills they need for sustainable careers in the trades.
It means everything when a company that builds with quality and sustainability at its core chooses to invest in the people building our community. Thank you, Toyota Boshoku America. Your support is changing lives in meaningful ways.

Congratulations to our newest graduates, Marcus Barksdale and Ve'Aaju Smith! π
Marcus and Ve'Aaju, we are so proud of you. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to showing up and doing the work every single day brought you to this moment--and you've earned every bit of it. Both have completed the Building Value Construction Training Program with their sights set on carpentry, and they leave with something most people never get: a bone-deep understanding of how buildings actually work, built from the ground up through deconstruction.
Through taking structures apart piece by piece--removing fixtures, framing, flooring, doors, and more. They didn't just learn how to tear things down, they learned how everything is put together, and why. That's the foundation of a great carpenter, and it's exactly what they're taking with them into the field.
To Marcus, Ve'Aaju, and everyone who supported them along the way: thank you!
She didn't want anyone telling her she couldn't fix it herself. ππ οΈ
Jailynne McKenzie joined the Building Value Construction Training Program because she wanted the independence that comes with skilled trades. She left with the skills to prove it: forklift certified, skid steer operator, trained in deconstruction of fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
But the moment that stuck with her most? Her observation that a diverse group of construction workers all wore the same neon yellow shirt. Different companies. Different trades. Different backgrounds. Same commitment to the craft.
Watch Jailynne's story below and see why the neon yellow crew keeps growing.

We've got salvaged granite and marble countertops in stock at Building Value--and at $15/sq ft, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal in Cincinnati. Full slabs generally run $750 to $950. Because these are reclaimed materials, each piece has its own character, so inspect before you commit!
Got questions? Just press the button at the front register. It plays the Under the Sea tune from "The Little Mermaid" and a retail associate will be right with you. π
