“De meza was born from a family story built around food, hard work, and the American dream.

After immigrating to the United States, my dad and uncle started as bus boys, worked their way up through restaurants, and eventually opened their own places. Over the years, queso became one of the products our family cared about most. It was simple, familiar, and something people kept coming back for.

But when we looked at the queso dips on store shelves, most of them did not feel like the queso we knew. Too many artificial colors, added sugars, gums, fillers, and ingredients that took away from what queso should be.

So we decided to make something better.
A premium refrigerated queso made with real dairy, honest ingredients, and the kind of flavor that feels personal. Something rooted in our restaurants, but made to be shared beyond them.”
