UPDATE: Oh the weather outside is frightful! Our Nativity will still open tomorrow, but unfortunately we won’t be able to host carriage rides, music and kettlecorn as originally planned. Our partners are going to stay safe at home and off the roads tomorrow evening. We are so sad to not have our usual first-day festivities this year. We hope you’re able to come visit our Nativity as soon as it’s safe to travel the roads. And for our more local Mt. Healthy and Hamilton residents who are able to walk to our locations, we will see you there!

Lifespring Christian Church (Galbraith Rd.) is hosting an evening of hymns and praise tomorrow at 4:30. We often hear hymns at funeral services here at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, but many don’t hear these songs in church anymore. So we’re happy to share about this event at Lifespring. They’ll be worshipping and exploring the rich history of the hymns we know and love. It’s for those who long to hear the songs of praise they grew up with - and for those who would like to introduce their young ones to these essential hymns!

Always remember ~ ~ ~

Today, we honor the brave Americans who faced unimaginable odds during the attack on Pearl Harbor 83 years ago. On December 7, 1941, in just 90 minutes, the Imperial Japanese Navy devastated our Pacific Fleet. Despite the losses, their courage united our nation and forged the path to victory in World War II. Let us reflect on their sacrifice and ensure their legacy lives on in our Navy's core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

So much history has filled our books in the last 82 years and it's easy to forget something that happened so long ago. But Pearl Harbor Day should still be remembered, along with those who gave the ultimate price that day for our freedom. There are still those with us who survived this attack. There are still those whose memory of these events is personal. We should never forget Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.
