Spending a weekend with First Take isn’t a bad way to spend a weekend. I’m so grateful for their friendship, and it’s very fun to be a small part of their incredible journey as amazing representatives of the barbershop world. They are such inspiring artists.

After a WONDERFUL choreo sesh with The Alexandria Harmonizers last night, I’m on my way to New Orleans and I attend my first category school for the Barbershop Harmony Society’s judging program!

I’m super excited to mix and mingle with my colleagues and learn, in person, from each of the wonderful creative giants that continuously inspire me. I’m so grateful.

It has been a long road to get to this point. And I have been given much support along the way. I hope to continue helping the barbershop community as my journey in barbershop continues…

Last week, I had a fun time performing with The Skivvies during a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with VACAYA (an AMAZING LGBTQ+ travel company). We performed scenes from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and it was SO. MUCH. FUN! I love performing with and meeting new people.
