Today we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and his lifetime of dedication combating what he called the three great evils of our physical world; Racism, Poverty, and War. Dr. King's message of Peace & Equality resonated throughout the country and is widely considered as the driving force in garnering public support for the Civil Rights Act.

Today is the 40th anniversiary of MLK Day, as President Ronald Reagan officially enshrined Dr. King's birthday as a federal holiday in 1983, with the first observation taking place January 20th, 1986.

A lot of the midwest woke up this morning to snowy roads that made their commute a little slower than usual. Please remember to keep your patience this winter, as it takes semis much longer to speed up & brake fully loaded at 80,000 lbs than it does your sedan. These men & women drive up to 600 miles a day making sure we have what we want & need heading into the holiday season, so the least we can do is have a little courtesy.

As the weather gets colder, please join us in a Winter Coat Drive!! We'll be collecting new or gently used coats, gloves, hats, sweatshirts, or anything else warm! We'll be collecting donations at 5 Circle Freeway Dr Cincinnati, OH 45246 until Friday 12/12 and then distributing across various homeless encampements & underserved areas throughout Cincinnati!
