“I’ve been in the lab with a pen and a pad.” Definitely the most fantastic men’s ring I’ve ever made. Using customer’s stones was a pleasure because he has really good taste in both jewelers and gemstones. About a kilo of platinum, SS and 14k mokume, with tourmaline and sapphire. Designed after a fantastic day of surfing Tonggs this summer. I think I need to make a ritual of that. lol

Bracelet #5 showcases 14k yellow gold, platinum, and 0.47ct of diamonds. Its weight and feel are truly luxurious. It's currently 7 3/4 inches long, but I can adjust it to just over 8 inches with an extra link. Need it smaller? That's no problem. $3750.00.

1.81ct D color natural princess cut diamond in 14k white gold. The argument for lab diamonds is compelling if you don’t factor in the magic felt from Mother Nature. Natural diamonds are more complex with way more personality than lab diamonds. Don’t get wrong there’s definitely a place for man made created diamonds, but to say the two are identical is perhaps not exactly true.

If I had to work in 22k yellow gold for the rest of my life, I would be completely ok with that. The behavior, the weight, and the luster of the metal make me appreciate my job in so many amazing ways that I bow humbly to the universe. I thank it for the grace it shows me and opportunities it gives me that allows me to do what I do. These bezels are hand made from 22k casting grain poured and rolled into bar stock 4x1.5mm thick then bent into cushion cut bezels. Set in the bezels are beautiful pink sapphires 1.92 carat total weight. Sold.

My primary focus with respect to designing jewelry is to create pieces that have an understated elegance as well as maintain a timeless quality. This last decade I feel like I’m hitting that mark.
