🏆 Congratulations to the 2026 DFI OPA recipient!

DFI is proud to recognize the Irishtown Bend Slope Stabilization Project in Cleveland, Ohio, as the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Project Award (OPA).

This remarkable project tackled one of the region's most complex geotechnical challenges—stabilizing an actively moving landslide along the Cuyahoga River. The innovative deep foundation solution not only protects a vital navigation channel supporting approximately $4.7 billion in annual economic activity, but also paves the way for a new public riverfront park.

Congratulations to Goettle and everyone involved in delivering this outstanding achievement in engineering and construction.

💬 What geotechnical project has impressed you most this year?

R.W Harris, a Goettle company, is in downtown Tampa, FL, working alongside the Hillsborough River on the foundation for the new Tampa University Science Building this summer!

Work on site includes shoring and augercast pile installment that will support the new multi-story facility.

In honor of National Soccer Day, we're looking back at the soccer stadiums we have helped build over the years. From augercast piles for TQL Stadium, here in Cincinnati, to the foundation for Crew Stadium in Columbus, Goettle is proud to support the foundation for these national venues!

National Hot Dog Day is the perfect day to highlight our work on the Heinz History Center Expansion Project in Pittsburgh, PA! Goettle is proud to have provided the design-build support of excavation for this Pittsburgh landmark.

The Lake Lenape Dam Rehabilitation and Spillway Reconstruction Project has been named the 2026 National Rehabilitation Project of the Year by ASDSO! Our team is proud to have performed the grouting work on this nationally recognized project in Bridgeton, NJ. Congratulations to everyone involved!
