Congratulations to this year’s DFI Outstanding Project Award winner — the Irishtown Bend Slope Stabilization Project!
Addressing one of the region’s most significant geotechnical challenges, the completed stabilization system features a 2,200 ft (670 m) long pipe pile and sheet pile combi-wall tied back into the hillside.
In the Sept/Oct issue of magazine, Cody Schappacher and Nick Kloenne of Goettle dive into the details of the driven wall and tieback system that now holds the Cuyahoga riverbank in Cleveland, and the key solutions developed to make the system constructable.

We've been hard at work completing augercast piles at a facility in Gibsonton, FL these past few weeks.
Augercast piles provide reliable deep foundation support in challenging soil conditions, making them a great fit for industrial facilities like this one.
