5 years ago today I ran my first run at USAC at Lawrenceburg Speedway for the fall nationals!
So I figured id take yall back in time and post some Throwback pictures of that day
We'll make the attempt to run with the Big Dawgs next Friday and Saturday and see if our little 305 can make the Dance both nights

Unfortunately our feature got cut short due to motor issues
But we won our heat race in an awesome way by half a straight away lead but cant thank everyone enough who makes this possible huge thanks to Empty Pockets Racing for the opportunity again to run a badass kart!
We'll be back in the sprint car with the 305 against USAC Racing at Lawrenceburg Speedway

Back at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway lets see if we can continue the speed we had last week!
You can catch me back in the Empty Pockets Racing 92 at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway this Friday October 2nd
Hoping for redemption after not being able to finish the Warnin Memorial due to mechanical issues
Hopefully we'll be able to pick up a 410 to run the last 2 USAC Non-wing races at Lawrenceburg Speedway October 9th and 10th

Now that the weekend has finally calm down I can finally explain what went on behind the scenes!
I was given the opportunity to race for the Empty Pockets Racing crew for the Scott Warnin Memorial at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway this past Friday!
The prior week I picked up the kart from Dave to get everything ready to go for the race after some help from Dustin Bauer on getting the motor tuned i got it scaled and ready to go. But I wasn't a huge fan of just numbers on a white kart!
I wanted to do more and show my appreciation for the opportunity they were giving me to run this race so I decided to surprise the crew.
Luckily CSG CountrySide Graphics was able to knock out a wrap for me on such short notice! I literally picked up the wrap at 6 on Thursday and drove a hour back to Corey Hausfeld at Ultimate plasma & fabrication to throw it on and load it for Fridays race
I was nervous I wasn't gonna be able to get it done in time but after all the hard work and time crunch and some help it all came together and was worth it! Just seeing their reactions made it 10x better!

Ran a great Feature at the Warnin Memorial at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway
Ran 7th the entire race and was fighting for 6th and 5th unfortunately with 2 laps to go the Fuel Injection came off shutting the motor down
Disappointed for not being able to finish strong for the Empty Pockets Racing crew but looking forward to the next one
Huge thanks David Morgan and Zach Morgan along with Dustin Bauer for all their help and basically letting me do whatever i want with the kart.
