It is full-on fall now, and iSPACE is thrilled to begin hosting field trips again this year! Our commander crew is ready and excited to work with students and teachers across greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Here we are preparing for the first iMission of the school year. Ever wonder how engineers create medical devices that can help save lives? Now it’s your turn to find out! Girls in 5th-8th grade are invited to join engineers from Ethicon for a hands-on design challenge where THEY become the engineer. Tackle a real-world problem, make creative design decisions, work within a budget, and turn ideas into a life-saving medical device.

Come ready to create, problem-solve, experiment, and discover how STEM can make a real difference in people’s lives!

Want to ignite your child's passion for robotics? Our 6-week evening programs are designed to take your child on an exciting journey into the world of robotics. Participants will take a deep dive into robotics by learning how to design, build and program robots. From coding fundamentals to problem-solving skills, our expert instructors will guide them every step of the way.

There are two age-appropriate options. Ages 7-9 will build LEGO WeDo 2.0 while learning about protecting the earth, and ages 10-12 will immerse themselves in saving the oceans with Sphero Bolt robots. The program is on Tuesdays from Oct. 6th- Nov. 10th from 6:00pm–7:30pm each week at iSPACE Evendale.

REMINDER, in case you missed it: The first Teen Science Cafe for the 26-27 school year happens on Sept 14 at 6 pm at iSPACE! During TSC meetings, teens get a chance to hear from STEM professionals in a variety of industry jobs, ask questions, and do some hands-on activities to bring the industry to life!
