The search for the next great opera star Cincinnati Opera hosts Opera Idol 2011™, the search for the next great opera star.
Auditions will take place at Cincinnati Music Hall on Saturday, May 8. Auditions are open to the public (including all residents from Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana), and all musical styles are welcome. The winner of Opera Idol™ 2011 will receive a $3,500 contract with Cincinnati Opera, which may include public appearances and performance opportunities.
