Celebrating 70 years! In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Rita and Don embarked on extraordinary educational journeys through (GIA) Gemological Institute of America, traveling to Africa, Sri Lanka, Belgium, Brazil, Singapore and India. Unfortunately, these educational trips are no longer offered due to security reasons. These trips gave them firsthand knowledge of gemstones, jewelry traditions and global sourcing practices from some of the world’s most renowned regions. The journey didn’t stop there. Rita and Don brought that knowledge home, sharing what they learned with their employees and future generations of the business. Their commitment to education helped shape the integrity and personalized service that defines our store today.

Celebrating 70 years! Laura Gausepohl Arlinghaus joined Hudepohl Jewelers in 1987. She began with a Gemology degree specializing in pearls and pearl stringing. Over the years, Laura became one of the company’s designers, creating timeless pieces and helping generations of customers celebrate their important occasions. At the beginning of 2027, Laura will be retiring, marking an incredible 40 years with Hudepohl Jewelers. Thank you, Laura, for four decades of artistry, passion, friendship and commitment. You are an important part of our 70 year history, and your influence will continue to shine for years to come.

Celebrating 70 years! In 1986, our jewelry store entered an exciting new chapter with the remodel of our offices at the corner of 7th and Vine Streets in the old Provident Bank building. This remodel freshened up our space and made it much more efficient and customer oriented. Every detail of the renovation was thoughtfully planned out by Rita to create a warm and welcoming space. Her concepts from this remodel were incorporated in our current space at 35 E 7th Street. Here’s to honoring our past, celebrating the present and shining brightly into the future. 💍💎
