Join us on June 9th at 4:00 p.m. for an exclusive tour of Covington City Hall. Currently, the town's City Hall is housed in a converted J.C. Penney department store—a temporary solution that began in 2013 and has now stretched into more than a decade. Given Covington’s rich history, architectural beauty, and diverse population, the city government needed a visible, accessible, and central location.
Brandstetter Carroll, Inc. and Elevar Design Group have teamed up to design the new City Hall, with Pepper Construction as the construction manager. This project is a three-story, 41,000-square-foot building that will serve as a much-needed permanent home for the Covington City Government.
Tickets are limited — secure yours today at designlearnandbuild.org!

Project Title: Santa's Sanctuary Grade: 5th grade, Summit Elementary
Description: Santa's secret sanctuary is a place where he can get away from his wife because, well.. Everyone needs a break from their wife sometimes... Am I right?? We built a hot cocoa river with a live cow so that we wouldn't have to use so much plastic from all the milk jugs and pollute the north pole air. He can relax in his mega chair or hot tub, watch Christmas movies, eat whatever he wants, drink hot chocolate or Coca Cola and listen to music.

Project Title: Jupiter Mall
Grade: 5th grade, Summit Elementary
Description: Our sanctuary is called the Jupiter Mall. It is located on Jupiter above the gas clouds. Our clients are aliens. Hopefully when we show them all the activities and food we have down here, they won’t destroy it. It has a spa, movie theater, aquarium full of amazing sea creatures, arcade and laser tag. We also have the green machine-a robot that melts trash down to be reused.
