Thank you to all who come by and donate supplies we need for the pet program! This week we are in need of the following items:

Fulfilling a wish on this list directly supports a pet and their family interacting with the pet support program.

A reminder again to register for the KEEPING FAMILIES TOGETHER Fundraiser across the street from Found House IHN on Saturday, September 26th from 12pm to 2pm.

Proceeds from the Fundraiser go to pets and families supported by the Found House Pet Support Program.

Pet owners face tough obstacles in obtaining stable housing after eviction. The families we help are often forced to choose between surrendering their animals or being denied admission into shelters and housing assistance.

By celebrating our families who have come through the difficulties of housing loss, and sharing their stories with the community, we'll raise awareness and support the pet owners who are currently struggling so that they and their four-legged loved ones can be together. ❤

And, of course, it doesn't hurt to have some fun along the way.

Senior dogs like Lulu belong with the people who love them.

We are so excited to announce that Found House IHN’s Pet Support Program is one of the 59 organizations nationwide to receive a Staying Home Grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization!

Senior pets take extra care and often, extra expenses. This funding will help us provide supportive services that keep senior dogs safe and healthy—preventing unnecessary shelter surrender and helping more senior dogs remain where they belong: with their families.

Lulu and her owner became homeless due to circumstances beyond their control. Lulu is blind which makes kennels a scary place. With the support of the Grey Muzzle Organization, Found House IHN is providing temporary shelter with one of our volunteer foster homes and some minor medical care while her owner looks to secure permanent housing.

The Staying Home Grant is part of Grey Muzzle's national effort to better understand the challenges senior dog guardians face and identify proven solutions that help families stay together.

A huge thank you to Grey Muzzle and their supporters for making this possible and for believing in a time where every senior dog finds safety, love, and a soft landing.

Thank them for hosting their Fundraiser - Beer for Humans at Rhinegeist Brewery
where a portion of the beer proceeds goes back to assisting families experiencing homelessness, ensuring that their pets are properly cared for while they work towards stable housing.

These students from UC Blue Ash Veterinary Tech Program and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) volunteered with our Pet Support Program, and now that they are graduating, dropped off this check at our front door a few weeks back.

We wish them the best of luck with the next chapter of their education and careers.

Our program is only possible through the generosity, time, talent, and expertise supplied by others. We're constantly blown away by the students and friends that show up and keep our program running.
