We had a great time last night at the Reds game in the Iheart media suite. Even better capping it off with an exciting Reds come from behind win! This year has been VERY busy so it was a much needed outing for all of us. We will be growing this year to be able to keep up! Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with their generator needs!!

Over the last couple weeks load banks have been a MAJOR source of stress for us. Rental companies have been low on inventory due to data center and solar farm usage. Now we have purchased 3 additional load banks a 1000KW, a 500KW, and a second 100KW. This means we now have added capabilities in a moments notice, reduced expense in rental fees, and reduced time in dealing with rental companies. With a total of 1700KW we are positioned well to be able to handle most generator testing!

While Kohler is our preferred brand failures do occasionally occur. They had a bad batch of engines during COVID and this unit recently failed from that batch. We got the engine covered under warranty and got it swapped out yesterday. Proper troubleshooting, warranty, and repair work are very important. Whether under warranty or not you want a company who can handle all your needs, not just replace the whole unit! Is your generator service company a full service company or do they install and/ or change oil?

Price increases are coming, we have not been given an exact date yet but we are being told they will be 2% on average. From parts to new equipment. If you would like a quote reach out and we would be happy to assist!

If you have a Kohler generator and are getting notifications about checking oil levels. Please know that if your unit has not been running, this is not applicable to you. Kohler keeps sending out notifications for those who are without power down south to remind them to check levels. I'm not sure if these are region based or what. But everyone is getting them. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!

Be sure to clean those vents around your generator! It only takes a minute and could prevent an engine failure and even worse, a denied warranty claim!!!

With the incoming snow we want to send out some important things to keep in mind.

- make sure your generator can breathe! Clear snow away from intake and exhaust openings.
- if you're in an extended outage, the manufacturer says that the oil needs to be checked every 8-24 hours depending on the make/ model. This means shutting the engine down, checking the dipstick, topping off the oil if needed, then placing the unit back in auto. Once in auto the unit will start right away, if still in an outage.
- if you are running a portable generator, make sure it is away from all vents, windows, and doors on the outside of the house. Follow the manufacturer recommendation for hookup, setbacks, etc.
