Rylee grew up in Columbus Ohio and has always loved to be outside. They are a junior studying environmental biology at Ohio University in the fall and love to help kids learn about how fun it can be to be outside. They love to talk about anything sustainability, recycling, and preservation. Outside of summer camp they love to crochet, hangout with their fish, and go thrifting.

Join us for the Annual Repair Fair, celebrating item repair and restoration! 🪡🛠️🧰♻️
Saturday, May 9, 2026 10:00am-2:00pm
Downtown Library 800 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202
This community-centered event is a partnership between Hamilton County ReSource, The Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub, Imago, The Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library, and The City of Cincinnati.
At the Repair Fair, you’ll find friendly volunteer fixers, who can look at your broken item and will make best attempts to fix the item, or make best recommendations for what parts may need replaced if parts are not readily available.
Item repair allows items that still hold value to remain in use for as long as possible. Often items that break only require simple fixes to allow them to continue functioning for years to come. Continuing to use an older item instead of buying new allows you to hold on to sentimental pieces, save money, and preserve resources that may otherwise go to the landfill. At the Repair Fair, you can not only have your item reviewed, but you can learn how fixers may troubleshoot an item, and learn some simple fixes to take home and use on items in the future. At this event you can also learn more about what organizations around Hamilton County are doing to repair more and throw away less.
There will be no item pre-registration for 2026, and items will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Not all items will be fixed, and Repair Fair partners and volunteer fixers are not liable for items that may break further in the process of troubleshooting.
Acceptable Items include:
Jewelry (No Watches)
Clothing/textiles
Small electronics
Small appliances (must be smaller than a microwave)
