Last Saturday, New Leaf Kitchen taught some of our adult customers how to make healthy sweet potato tacos and salsa for our bimonthly Grown Folks Craftin’ program! The general consensus was deeeeelicious. Join us in August for Tie Dye!

We're giving a big shoutout to our Library Customer Advisor, Isaiah, who founded the West End Knights, a free AAU basketball team and nonprofit. The idea grew out of conversations with kids he meets at the library, and he launched the program in April to create more opportunities and positive outlets. Way to go Isaiah! 👏👏

West End's morning chess club has been meeting for over two years at the West End Branch Library. Facilitated by chess lover and Youth Librarian, Brendan McConnell, the meetup welcomes all skill levels. Join us every Thursday at 11 a.m. for chess and free coffee.
