Last week, our Executive Director, Alisha Nelson, and board member Ted St John, Founder & CEO of Hope Town Ohio, had the privilege of closing out RecoveyOhio Day at the 5th Annual Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center (ONIC) Drug Summit.
They joined Jennifer Ruff, Assistant Project Director at the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, for an insightful panel discussion: “From Seed Money to Sustained Operations: Finding and Maintaining the Funding You Need.”
Alisha shared how we are supporting prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts while helping build stronger, more resilient communities across Ohio. She also highlighted our grantmaking process, evaluation principles, the impact of our inaugural Regional Grant Cycle, which awarded $45.4 million to 245 projects statewide, and the latest updates on Regional Grant Cycle 2.
Thank you to the ONIC and RecoveryOhio for the opportunity to be part of this important conversation.
