Celebrating And Now, Back to You with BK Borison! 🌨️📺

This is def a bit of a latergram but I wanted to share anyways! Two weeks ago (what the heck 😭), I made the eight hour round trip to Cincinnati to meet and celebrate one of my fave reads so far this year, And Now, Back to You. I got see the most loveliest .thereader again and met the cutest !! Lauren and I were accidentally in sync btw, with her matching ANBTY and me matching First-Time Caller. ✨

The first thing BK said to me when I walked up for the photo was “You look like First-Time Caller!” And then she showed me her outfit being coordinated to both books and I DIED RIGHT THERE. My ghost now haunts 👻🫶🏻

I also love visiting JB, though I don’t do it often (you know, being four hours each way and all 😅). Everyone is so so nice and the book selection is just so good. Mad at myself for not getting a jellycat tho 👎🏼

Have you been to any good book events recently?

Too late for a February reading recap?? Don’t care. 💁🏼‍♀️

I actually started eight books (and technically finished Cleopatra on March 1st 🤫), but the end of the month definitely had me more into audiobooks than eyeball reads. It just be like that sometimes. 😛 But overall, for me, this was a great reading month for me! I’ve so far finished 13 books in 2026 and am currently working on 14 and 15 💖

My goal this year is to read a book a week, and I’m actually four ahead on that right now, according to Storygraph!! Considering just how rough the last six months have been, I’m v proud of myself for making reading a habit again. 😙

Thank you to for the ALCs of Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter and Cleopatra! And to for the eARC of And Now, Back to You. ✨ One of the reasons I love being a bookseller, getting to read the best books first. 😭

What was your favorite book you read in February? I’m torn between And Now, Back to You and Agnes Aubert!!

Happy release week, The Sun and the Starmaker 🌞

There is so much I could tell you about this very special book. If you’ve seen me in the last month or so, you’ve probably heard about it. The Sun and the Starmaker was sent to me by after I won a giveaway she did and when I opened the package and read the quote she wrote inside, I cried.

This book came into my life at a moment when it felt like my world was ending. As it was my most anticipated read of the year, I knew I had to pick it up right away. Little did I know, this gorgeous story would sustain me. Every time I picked it up, I cried (ask anybody that was around me in January 😂). I savored every word, and I’m already ready to reread it.

Truly, my favorite read of 2026. I don’t know how anything will top it. I’m so grateful (I’m not crying, you are 🫵🏼) to have gotten to read my new favorite book early. Thank you forever, Rachel, for this copy and for writing such a special story. 😭

“I know it may seem like your future is inevitable, but it is up to you to decide how it will look—how full your life will be, how much love it will hold, how much happiness and laughter and joy. Please do not deny yourself those things because you are afraid of the pain they may leave in their absence. Life includes pain, my darling, and you cannot escape or outwit it.”

🌷Swoons Fest 2026🪻

The most magical weekend of my life, and I can’t believe it’s already been a week since it happened. I’ve spent the last week sitting with so much gratitude for the friendships that I already have, and that I made during Swoons weekend.
library Endlessly proud of you three for making this a reality. You three were MADE for this. The most gorgeous historical romance celebration thrown by the three most passionate people I’ve ever met. So lucky to know you all and to have gotten to see some of the hard work that went into it.

I met so many wonderful people last weekend, there’s just too many to name in one post 😭 But I especially had so much fun with my roomie and my bb going to the Grand Floridian and exploring and eating yummy food and getting to tell strangers about Swoons Fest (and trying desperately to find Disney Springs parking on a Saturday night when the Lime garage is closed 😫). Will always wish we could live in that moment forever. 💕

And ofc thank you for letting me borrow your coat!! You saved my life!! Maybe one day I’ll learn to bring weather-appropriate clothing to Florida (probably not until the day I move there tho).

And to all the attendees and authors I got to meet, thank you for the best time. Let’s do it again next year. 💘

It’s technically the 13th now in Australia but that simply will not stop me! Happy happy birthday to my fellow Scorpio and bestest friend 💖 My sparkly, creative, fun, talented friend!!! I’m so glad we’ve become such good friends, even from across the world, days and timezones cannot stop us!!!! I’m very proud of all you’ve accomplished, what with publishing FIVE whole books in two years and all!

I’ve been changed for good by you and our friendship. 😚 Hbd Poppy girl

Not gonna lie, I got my copies of ’s books in the mail and sat them on my shelf like this, then notice how cutie they looked like this. Thus this post was born. 🙂‍↕️

The internet has wreaking havoc on my mental health lately, so I’ve been in my little corner hiding. November is gearing up to be a super busy month though (for one, I get to see !!!) so maybe you’ll see me around more often. In the meantime, read Ila’s books OR ELSE. 🫵🏼😠

What have you been up to lately? What is everyone reading?!

Loot I’d drop in the video game (as someone dying on easy mode) 🎮

I’ve seen so many people doing this, I had to break out my Canva skills once again to do one too. 👉🏼👈🏼 It took way too long (and there’s probably 60 layers!!) but fun was had hehehehe.

And that’s why I prefer cozy games, I don’t want to drop ANY of my precious loot. 😭

What loot are you dropping?

Emily Rath came to Ohio! 🥳

It’s always so special when an author not from Northeast Ohio comes here, but seeing the turnout at last night was something else! My friends at Barnes & Noble Fairlawn handled the event so well!! 🥰

It was so special, and I commend Emily and the B&N team! That was A LOT. But so so fun. 🥰 I’m glad I was able to go. Thank you Emily for coming and signing and talking (for literally hours) and thank you to B&N for pulling it off without a hitch!

Some videos I took of the event are over on the store’s page so be sure to check them out if you weren’t able to go. 💗

“It started with a whisper you heard while in line at a coffee shop, a story you probably should have ignored…”

She’s here, she’s here!!! I finally have Alchemy of Secrets by in my hands. 💗 Don’t need me because all my attention belongs to this book for approximately two days. 🙂‍↔️ I love everything Stephanie writes, and I just know this will be exception. I can’t wait to see what mysteries and magic her adult debut holds. ✨

This is my most anticipated read of 2025 and I know it’s going to go by way too fast. What’s your most anticipated book of the year?

Look what is in my possession. 😭😭😭

Thank you to a very special friend of mine for sharing her physical arc of The House Saphir with me!! 😭 She knew I’d been dying to get my hands on one and now LOOK!! I’m so happy, and it is SOOOO beautiful!!!

I also can’t wait to share my full thoughts on this one (I’ll do that closer to the release…November 3rd btw!) but yall, put this on your fall reading list. Like yesterday.

HOW TO EDIT YOUR OWN NOVEL IS HERE 🥹🥳

I’m late with this, as I have been with everything lately, but my copy of How to Edit Your Own Novel by arrived a couple days ago and I’m about to live in its pages once again. It was such a privilege, as it always is to work with Poppy, to work on getting this book to the finish line and into the world’s hands!

HTEYON is an incredible resource for writers of all caliber—and it’s a pretty addition to your writing desk to boot. 🤭 The activities are SO much fun and motivating, and it covers any topic you can think of when it comes to writing. Poppy’s experience and passion shine through and I am, once again and always, so proud of all her hard work. 💗🧚🏼‍♀️

Go get your copy ASAP! I can’t recommend it enough, and that’s not me being biased, I swear heheheh 🤠

💘 Not in Love 💘

Okay, this one hit different. What started as a quick read so I could finally read Problematic Summer Romance, ended with me sobbing in my bed at 1 AM. 🥲

I’ve been doing my best to avoid books with fraught sibling relationships (especially ones where they make up and all is well…ur girl can’t handle that rn), but I guess the universe had other plans. This was exactly what I needed right now. 🩷

Very easily one of my favorite reads of the year. I’m quickly making my way through Ali’s backlist (Bride and Check & Mate are currently awaiting me on my kindle HAHA) and I can already tell you this will be in my top two.

And now I’m reading Problemstic Summer Romance and enjoying that ride. 🤭 What Ali book should I read next?!

Also thank u .library and for making sure I got a signed copy of this before I left Orlando in May (and before they ran out). It’s my prized possession now. 😂
