The Cincinnati art museum has published photos of all the Art in Bloom arrangements next to the work of art that they were designed to interpret. It’s a wonderful post! You can find your fav arrangements to see them again, as well as see any that you missed on the day you visited and read the description that the floral artist wrote about their interpretation. If you weren’t able to go this year, make plans to attend next year‘s 2027 Art in Bloom event at the end of April.

If you can stop into the Cincinnati Art Museum this weekend for Art in Bloom you are in for a real treat! There are approximately 60 flower arrangements on display, each responding to an assigned work of art. And they are gorgeous! This is the second year I was selected to participate as a floral artist. We are assigned the work of art, and may find ourselves outside our comfort zones. It’s a creative challenge. Come see how I and the other floral artists met the challenge! It’s free, today through Sunday.

Today is international women’s day, a holiday celebrated world-wide, though not so much in the United States, to recognize the contributions women make and to advocate for women’s equality. So here’s to all the women in our lives—our mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, and friends—whose presence and care make our lives better. Wishing for all women lives filled with opportunity, safety, health and wellbeing, equal pay, happiness, and love. May we all work to make it so.
