New Ohio bill ‘Take the Dough, We Gotta Know Act’ seeks more school voucher data The bill would create an online comparison system for parents to evaluate private school performance against local public schools, among other provisions.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day was extra special spending the morning in Newtown. Today we honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom. 🇺🇸

Proud to introduce HB 915 alongside my colleague Representative Robinson. This legislation would require health benefit plans and the Medicaid Program to cover epinephrine and glucagon for individuals 18 and under, while also capping out-of-pocket costs for these medications in any form.

This matters because for families managing severe allergies or diabetes, access to these medications is critical. No child should go without a life-saving treatment due to cost. HB 915 helps ensure affordability, access, and peace of mind for parents and caregivers across our communities.

Another productive day at the office 💼

Spent the day working hard alongside Abigail (legislative aide) and Manny (intern), drafting sponsor testimony, reviewing constituent communications, and making sure every detail is covered. It’s meaningful work, and even better with a great team.

Thank you to John Esterly for hosting us at the BLET Founders Day dinner. I learned that founded on May 8, 1863, the BLET is the oldest labor union in the United States! And it was a special surprise to be present when my former colleague Rep Mike Skindell was awarded the Locomotive Tender Award.

The Ohio governor’s race is heating up! Incredible turnout in Anderson Township for Amy Acton and David Pepper.

One message really stood out: the need to “find our way back to each other.” Time and again, I hear from constituents who are tired of the constant fighting and division. People want leaders who will come together, focus on solutions, and address the real challenges facing Ohioans. These are the candidates to meet this need!

I’m incredibly excited to welcome Tyler Daniels to the team as my new Campaign Manager! and congratulate him on graduating Summa Cum Laude from American University's School of Public Affairs with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Tyler brings energy, dedication, and a killer work ethic. If you’ve ever been out knocking doors, you know it takes a special kind of person to love canvassing, and Tyler absolutely thrives on it.

With Tyler leading our campaign efforts on the ground, I know we’re going to reach more people, have more meaningful conversations, and build the kind of momentum that wins elections.
