What started with just ducks, fostering hundreds of kittens, and gardening has now expanded to Silkie chickens and soon, Sebastopol geese.
Hoping to get some mini animals soon enough so kids can come visit and cuddle cute and fluffy creatures.

I bought some Dutch Hookbill duck eggs to incubate. They are critically endangered with less than 550 known breeding pairs in the US.
Not only do these boxes say fragile and this side up but they also say hold for pick up at the post office. The postal carrier just put them over the fence in the hot sun. Gotta love USPS some days. I am hoping some hatch at least.
My babies look so beautiful and graceful on the pond. Don't tell the ducks and chickens but the Sebastopols are by far our favorite. Minus the porch pooping.

I am in love with this coloring. Such a beautiful orange that fades into a brown. She is so beautiful. God makes extraordinary things.

Our garden is kicking out some amazing produce. Too bad I can't grow lettuce to save my life in this South Texas heat.

More beautiful Millie from eggs I bought from Bluebonnet Silkies TX and no she can't have them back! The first one is named Oscar because I didn't know she sent me extra eggs and I threw them away and then dug them out of the trash. I marked those eggs and hatched Oscar. The second one looks like a calico right now but will develop over time. Two beauties in my mille pen!
