Yesterday, I got to spend a little time just watching Nicoletta do what she loves, and you can genuinely see the happiness in her. 💙🇬🇷

There’s this wonderful energy about her when she’s behind that counter — cooking, chatting with customers, laughing, and making sure everyone is fed. 🥙❤️ She truly loves what she does, and I think that love comes through in the food and in the way she treats every person who walks through the door.

It was just one of those moments that made me smile and reminded me how special it is to watch someone genuinely happy doing what they love. 🥰

A quick note about the recent AI comments 💙🇬🇷

We’ve seen the comments about AI on our recent graphic, so I just wanted to clear something up!

Yes, I use AI to help me create graphics because, well… I’m definitely not a graphic designer or professional social media content creator. 😂 However, I always upload images of our actual food - but sometimes, things get altered.

For that reason, I’ve created the collage below using our actual food photos so there’s no confusion about what we serve.

And just to clarify who’s behind the page — while Nicoletta is the one actually at the restaurant making the magic happen, I’m just her daughter-in-law: a full-time 1st grade Autism teacher, mom to a 9-year-old, and the unofficial Gyro Express social media department. 😂💙

I’m just doing my best behind the scenes to help support my family and their business. I may not always create the perfect graphic, but the food Nicoletta is serving is very much real, homemade, authentically hers, and absolutely delicious!

For the sake of full transparency, I’m posting the original, unedited food photos used for the graphic in the comments. 📸🇬🇷💙

After some feedback about the “AI food,” I went ahead and updated the graphic to make sure all of the food shown is from actual photos taken right here at Gyro Express, with no retouching of the food.
