FEATURED FUR-IDAY: Meet Aztec! 🐾

This handsome guy is ready to steal hearts! Aztec is a 10-month-old Shepherd mix with a gorgeous tri-colored coat and an even more gorgeous personality to match.

Aztec is all puppy, playful, curious, and always up for the next adventure. He’s looking for an active family who can match his energy with walks, training, and plenty of enrichment to keep that busy brain and growing body happy. He’d thrive in a home with older kids who can play with him while giving him space to be himself.

His new family should be ready to keep up the training and help him grow into the amazing adult dog he’s destined to be.

Could you be Aztec’s person? 🐶❤️ His adoption fee is generously sponsored by the ASPCA Rescue Effect Grant, so all that’s missing is YOU!

Come meet Aztec today!✨

🌟 Featured Fur-iday: Gizmo found his forever home! 🌟

Don’t let his little size fool you, Gizmo has a huge heart, and now he gets to share it with his very own family!

This adorable 1-year-old Chihuahua may have been a little shy at first, but it didn’t take long for his sweet, loving personality to shine through. Once he warmed up, that famous Gizmo smile was impossible to resist. 🥰

With his handsome tan-and-white coat and charming little heart, Gizmo was the perfect pint-sized package waiting for the right people to notice, and they did!

Congratulations, Gizmo! Go enjoy a lifetime of love, cuddles, and adventures with your new family. 🐾

✨ Thank you to our incredible Gala Sponsors! ✨

Butte Humane Society’s 115th Anniversary Gala was a night to remember, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors: Modern Building Company, State Farm - Erynn Nelson, and Matson & Isom Technology Consulting.

We’re also endlessly grateful to our Media Sponsors for helping spread the word: The Northstate’s News, KRCR, FOX 20, Action News Now, and Deer Creek Broadcasting.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Wishlist Wednesday for Honey 🍯

Honey entered our shelter extremely underweight, with a fractured tail and heartworm. On top of it all, she had 7 sweet puppies in tow, all of them thriving because their mama gave them her everything.

Thanks to the 15/10 , ALL of Honey’s care is completely covered. 💛

Since then, Honey has been in treatment for heartworm and steadily gaining the weight and strength she deserves, all while keeping that same fun-loving, affectionate spirit that won everyone over.

And now, the best update of all: Honey AND all 7 of her puppies have found their forever homes. That’s 8 dogs who got the chance to completely change their lives, and it happened because our community shows up for Butte Humane Society, again and again.

Congratulations, Honey! Go enjoy every walk, every nap, every bit of love headed your way. 🐾

Which brings us back to Wishlist Wednesday. Shopping our wishlist is one of the easiest ways to help us keep showing up for animals like Honey and her babies, with the supplies they need on day one. 🍯
