Two weeks down - just two more to go! Come join us for the FINAL weeks! Week #3 (of 4) starts - NEXT MONDAY, Aug 3rd - 7th! Your camper can spend the week skating with lessons from our pros, learn how to mini golf, and take some supervised cuts in the batting cages. Plus, arts/crafts, arcade game tournaments, recess-style games on the skating floor, basketball and kickball outside, and so much more. Campers can stay just for the morning (9am-1pm), or all-day with the public skating session as well: 9am-5pm. We've got some news. To some it's going to be sad, or even heartbreaking. To others the news can be taken as encouraging and exciting. Either way, it's news that needs to be publicly announced at this time. Sunday, August 16th, will be Cal Skate Chico / FunLand Chico's last operating day. After 48 years, it's time to play one last song, one last game of red light green light, one last couples skate - at least under the name of Cal Skate / FunLand. The encouraging side of the announcement is that the location is being purchased by a group that is looking to do a similar, but upgraded, business plan. As far as we know, still a family entertainment center, still complete with the skating rink, miniature golf course, and the batting cages. There are many more details to come out in the coming weeks. We just wanted to give as much notice as possible. Please see the attached letter from the current owners addressing the community. Win Giants tickets at "Baseball Night at Cal Skate"! This coming Tuesday, June 9th, our CheapSkate Night theme is going to be everything baseball! We'll have baseball music, trivia, costume contest for best team outfit, and baseball give-a-ways! Each paid admission gets a free raffle ticket - you could win complimentary batting cage rounds, ballpark nachos or hot dogs, or even 2 San Francisco Giant baseball game tickets! The session runs from 6:30-8:30pm, and only costs $9.50 - including quad rental skates!

Cal Skate Customer Appreciation Night! This Saturday, May 23rd - Two-for-One skate admission from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Grab a friend or family member and make it down to Cal Skate where we get to thank YOU for making us Chico's favorite family entertainment center for the past 48 years! We'll have special give-a-ways all night, snack bar specials, and music from the 1970's through the 2020's that are certified rink favorites and truly made to skate to. We'll even have plenty of 'couples skates' to bring back the days of old. Stick around after 9:30 for our one and only Adult Night for skaters 18+! Thank you Chico!

It's National Mini-Golf Day on Saturday, May 9th! To celebrate, we're going to have a Glow Golf night on FRIDAY night from 8:30pm - 11pm. On SATURDAY afternoon we'll celebrate the day with 2-for-1 miniature golfing between 12 - 4:00pm! Glow golf will cost $15 for adults, $13 for kids under 10, and includes your very own 7-color LED golf ball you get to keep! Saturday golf round prices are $10.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids.
