This FENDER BLUES JR needed a few repairs, one of which was the correct input jack. Someone had previously installed the wrong part, out of necessity probably. A new jack, plus new capacitors and tubes made this amp sound amazing.

THE ROCK DOC's Advice
How to Jam well with others:
1. Be open to new musical ideas.
2. Don't suggest changes to someone's idea without giving it a try first. Give it your best when doing so. Otherwise, it's rude.
3. Don't be a theory snob. We all hear the same notes. We just might describe them differently. Resist feelings of superiority in this matter.
4. Be flexible. If something isn't working, try something else, but don't be upset about it.
5. Be friendly. Don't be an jerk. Build up your players. Don't knock them down. This means not acting annoyed too.
6. Don't be afraid to record something that isn't perfect. It's better to have the memory and the experience.
7. Have a good time, or don't. It's up to you.
This TASCAM 488 needed new rubber parts and two new switches. Now it works great!
