We are excited for Elijah Jones and Baylee Jones to both be competing this weekend at Redwood Outlaw Karts! You can follow along here for how they do all weekend long!

A pay out isn’t the only thing the drivers will be racing for this weekend 🌲 6 drivers will walk away with the inaugural KING OF THE REDWOODS trophy. Hand crafted, and one of a kind. It’s all happening this Saturday and Sunday August 8th and 9th at Redwood Acres Fairgrounds in Eureka, CA.

Cycleland Speedway- points race #16

Being the only car coming out of the trailer this week at Cycleland, things were a little different for Elijah.
He started the night by timing in 11th quick.
This lined him up to start 3rd in his heat race. He put on a strong run majority of the race. Unfortunately late contact between him and another driver sent him to the rear of the field with only a few laps left.elijah settled for 6th in the heat.
Starting the main event from the 17th spot. Elijah knew he had work to do and set his mind to it. Driving to an impressive 2nd place finish, plus fifteen spots! An incredible run from the back and definitely not one to hold his head on!

ITS RACE DAY

Jake is hitting the track for points race #16 of the year at Cycleland Speedway! He has been a front runner all season, and tonight is looking to continue that run!

Elijah Jones is the lone Jones Family Racing driver taking on Cycleland Speedway tonight for Points Race #16!

Elijah has shown plenty of speed all season long and has proven he has what it takes to run up front. While the results haven't quite reflected the pace he's had, tonight is another opportunity to put it all together before the team takes a few weeks away from Cycleland.

QRC Cup/ Points Race #15

The Jones Family hit the track for a fun filled day of racing together as a family!

Baylee, who continues to make massive improvements every time she hits the track in the beginner box stock division, kicked things off for the family. She timed in 19th overall. This allowed her to line up 5th for her heat race. Baylee contended for a transfer spot but ended up in 4th sending her to the B Main event.
Baylee started the B Main in 4th, unfortunately only a few laps in contact ended Baylee’s run and her night came to an end. A bummer end to a promising night.

Karlee was back in her clone tonight and timed in 8th quick. This lined her up on the pole of her heat race. She fell back to 3rd but was able to run there and get herself a 2nd place start in the B Main event. When the green flag dropped, Karlee and other commentators put on a great run, all racing hard for those transfer positions. Karlee ended up coming home 3rd, transferring to the A Main event.
Starting the main in 17th, she knew it wouldn’t be easy. But Karlee drove a great race and brought home the car in 15th!

Elijah started his night by timing in 3rd quick. This send him to the dash, skipping the heat race. Starting 4th in the dash, Elijah ran a great and fun to watch race getting 2nd and locking him in a 6th place starting spot for the a main event.
Starting the main event in 6th, Elijah moved forward but was never able to get to the lead like he would have liked. Elijah had to settle for 5th at the end of the night!

Overall a strong weekend for the Jones Family and they will be back next week for more points racing action.

ITS RACE DAY

The Jones Family is back on track tonight for the QRC cup and points race #15 at Cycleland Speedway!

After solid top ten finishes all around last night, the family is excited and ready to get day two underway!

Points Race #14 at Cycleland Speedway!

Baylee Jones has been growing as a driver every time she hits the track and tonight was no different! Starting the night timing in 15th, Baylee lined up 3rd in her heat. Unable to move forward she settled with a 3rd place finish that sent her to the B Main.
Starting the B in 3rd, Baylee knew she needed to be top 6 to transfer and she did just that earning the 6th and finial transfer spot.
Starting the A Main event 18th, Baylee was involved in an early yellow that kept her at the rear of the field. But as soon as the green flag dropped, she was on a mission and charged though the field! Moving forward ten spots, earring her career best finish at Cycleland with a strong 8th place finish!

Elijah continues to show his speed and dominance in the clone division! Timing in 3rd quick, Elijah went straight to the dash. Starting 3rd, Elijah put on a great battle with fellow competitor and traded the lead the entire race, earning 2nd.
This allowed him to start 6th in the A Main event. Elijah quickly moved his way though the field before he found himself in the closing laps competing for the lead! Ultimately Elijah came home 2nd.

Karlee continues to turn heads and shock the pits! Timing in 4th overall, Karlee lined up 5th for the dash. She was able to hold onto that spot and move on to start 9th in the A Main event. Karlee ran a strong race and held onto her own the entire main event. Unfortunately she was never able to move forward but she still held where she started.

All the Jones will be back tomorrow for a second night of racing!
