With no birthdays this month, we decided to celebrate National Potato Month instead. Everyone brought in a different potato dish, and we celebrated the spud in style!

🚧 Construction continues at Lakeridge Circle Apartments in Magalia, CA, and we're excited to share that paving has been completed! This important step brings the development one step closer to opening and advancing CHIP's mission of creating affordable housing opportunities throughout our region.

Giving back helps keep our team connected to the communities we serve.
Throughout the year, the NorthStar team spends time supporting local organizations, participating in fundraisers, volunteering, and getting involved with causes that matter to them outside of work.
NorthStar also sets aside 4% of yearly profits for sponsorships and donations, providing in-kind professional services to organizations, and matching employee contributions dollar-for-dollar to child or community centered causes.
For us, being part of a community means more than working in it. It means showing up, getting involved, and helping make it stronger.

In July, Paradise Elementary School celebrated the grand opening of its newly rebuilt campus, marking the completion of the last of four schools destroyed in the 2018 Camp Fire.
NorthStar had the opportunity to be part of this important project, providing the initial topographic survey, site civil design, and wastewater design for the new campus.
Now, students and teachers are filling the classrooms, library, STEM spaces, and outdoor learning areas as a new school year begins.
We hope they have an amazing school year!

Earlier this month, the NorthStar team had the opportunity to celebrate an exciting milestone for our community: the ribbon cutting of the Enloe Health Gonzales Comprehensive Cancer Center!
NorthStar has been part of this project since design began in 2023, providing engineering and surveying services.
Now complete, the new center will bring cancer care services together in one location, giving patients throughout the North State greater access to comprehensive care close to home.
It’s incredibly rewarding to see a project move from plans and groundbreaking to a completed facility that will have such a meaningful impact.
Congratulations to Enloe Health and all of the project partners who helped bring this vision to life. We’re grateful to have been part of the journey.
Last week the NorthStar team joined Enloe Health and fellow project partners for the groundbreaking of the new Heart, Vascular, and Imaging Center on East Avenue.
The new 68,000-square-foot facility will bring heart, vascular, and imaging services together in one location, expanding access to care and bringing new technology and resources to patients throughout our region.
We’re grateful to be part of another Enloe Health project that will have a meaningful impact on our community.

Good food, great company, and a little friendly competition.
Last week, the NorthStar team gathered at Hatchet Hangout for our annual Summer Social. It was a great opportunity to step away from our desks, spend time together, and enjoy an afternoon of fun outside the office.
