Life Church Chico

We are excited to officially welcome a few new Life Church staff members!! Let's get to know Weston Joyner, our Youth Director, and Peter and Shelly Christianson, our Missions Directors. 🎉🙌

From Weston -
I'm super excited to be a part of the staff team as Youth Director! I just graduated from Chico State with a bachelors in Communication Studies and a minor in Child Development and I love having the opportunity to come alongside our youth leaders and to shepherd the middle and high schoolers toward Jesus every week. I can't wait to see where the Lord takes this Youth Group!

From Peter and Shelly -
In March, we began a new chapter at Life Church as Mission Directors. Originally from Canada, we have had the privilege of serving with YWAM for the past 10 years, and are excited to now help coordinate, plan, and lead mission opportunities at Life Church, equipping and inspiring others to engage in God's work both locally and around the world. We love walking alongside people in their faith journey, encouraging and supporting them through the various opportunities offered through the Freedom Center. We have 5 children, 5 "married into the family" children, and 12 grandchildren, so living family God's Kingdom way is a passion in our hearts.

We look forward to expanding our impact for Christ locally and globally with these new additions to the team!
