Thirteen years ago, we took a leap of faith and became the caretakers of Red Tavern. What an incredible journey it has been.
Today, with both gratitude and a touch of sadness, we are sharing that we have sold Red Tavern to our partner and general manager, Mike Horton, and our head chef, Matt Harrison.
Over the years, Red Tavern has become so much more than a restaurant to us. It has been a place where friendships were formed, milestones were celebrated, and a community gathered around good food and hospitality. We have been honored to be part of so many of your lives and memories.
We are deeply grateful to our guests, our amazing staff, and everyone who has supported us along the way. Your loyalty and friendship have meant more than words can express. We love each and everyone of you.
We couldn't be more excited for Mike and Matt to lead Red Tavern into its next chapter. They care deeply about this restaurant, its people, and its future, and we know it is in wonderful hands.
And while we are saying goodbye to Red Tavern, we are also excited about what lies ahead. You'll still find us at Rione, where we are pouring our hearts everyday into creating something fun, unique and special.
We look forward to welcoming old friends and new faces, sharing great food, wine, and hospitality, and continuing to be part of this wonderful community for many years to come. But don't get us wrong—we also plan to spend a little more time traveling and enjoying life together. After all, it's not all about work... haha.
