Secondhand smoking affects ANYONE around the smoker, including your pets. Like people, pets that are exposed to secondhand smoke have an increased risk of developing certain cancers and breathing problems. E-cigarettes can be even more dangerous if they're not properly disposed of. Animals can eat the cartridges unknowing of the damage it can do. If consumed, the liquid in an e-cigarette cartridge can kill the animal that consumed it. Even if it's a small amount.

Breathing in secondhand smoke is still incredibly damaging to your body. It's even more dangerous to children and infants because their bodies and minds are still developing.

Children exposed to secondhand smoke are more at risk of:

Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)
Acute respiratory infections, such as pneumonia and bronchitis
Middle ear disease
More frequent and severe asthma
Respiratory symptoms
