Quitling a quilt for a client during my last month at the studio.

I do love this machine. I am going to keep the other one just because of the size. This means that this solid Longarm Quilting Machine will be available for purchase at the end of the month.

$2,500 Liberty Longarm Quilting Machine. It is not driven by a computer. There are paper patterns at the back and you follow the line with a laser.

It comes with a box of free patterns, a kit for free motion Quilting with rulers, extra needles, bobbins, books on how to use it and more.

This is a professional machine. It has a stitch regulator, foot pedal for moving the quilt back and forth, is easy to maintain and use.

The studio has been abuzz with packing, moving and finishing up custom projects. I am just about to weave some custom hand towels for a couple. Then, my AVL will be packed up into a storage unit until we have built our own studio! It feels good to get this done.

Lauren picked up the tapestry loom for her studio with her family. I am thrilled that she will be using this. It matches her better.

In the next few days I will be posting some of the larger looms or machines that will be for sale.

The summer has begun!

My studio has a bunch of lovely flowers around it this spring. It is always exciting to see what pops up!

Next workshop at Weft and Willow is for folks who ate nervous about using color in their work. I was trained in oils at the Maine College of Art. I learned an incredible amount about color while there.
Exploration about color has traveled through my painting, sewing, quilting, weaving and spinning.
There are several secrets about color that I am excited to share!

Today at the studio! So exciting! It is a bunch of hail but it still that same excitement of seeing the first snowstorm back East.
Snow angels may be a bit too wet.

These sunny days have inspired some outdoor activities on the porch. I washed a few fleeces from my collection. I am looking forward to spinning and during these.
I also put together my painting easel from my 20s. It feels good to bring this back into my life. The painter in me wants to come out again.
