Two years ago, one lucky fan got to sit with Jimmy Buffett as he performed a few spontaneous acoustic songs at the new Latitude Margaritaville community here in the lowcountry. On August 1, 2019 Accurate CARSTAR was sold to Crash Champions Collision Repair. Joe Maslanka has owned Accurate Auto since 1975. During his ownership he has worked tirelessly to better his business. In 2011he purchased the building to the west and moved his offices to create a comfortable customer waiting area and parking lot. In 2017 he purchased Four Star auto body adjacent to the existing shop to double the shop size. He had a large foot print on Montrose Ave. and the business continue to flourish.
Joe has been blessed with working closely with his brother Don who has been the shop manager for as long as we can remember. He has made many life long friends with insurance partners, staff and customers. It's a bittersweet time to say good by, but with confidence we hand the keys over to Matt Ebert owner of Crash Champions Collision repair who will continue to serve our customers well.
