The day is finally here, truth seekers and true believers. Cryptified is officially LIVE on all your favorite podcast apps with not one, but two, episodes in honor of Halloween.

The first tells the increasingly strange tale of The Mothman and other Winged Humanoids spotted in Chicago. These sightings have continued up to this day, with each encounter more bizarre than the one before it.

Spot the secret cat noises and win a PRIZE! (The prize is pictures of Harley’s cats)

The second tells the rather sad story of The Red Ghost of Arizona. An alleged demonic camel with a co**se for a rider. This, unlike other cryptid stories, firmly lives in the “fact is stranger than fiction” territory.

Spot the secret “air purifier Harley forgot to turn off before recording” noises and IGNORE THEM.

Give the new shows a listen, we hope you enjoy! It’s taking us a bit to shake off the dust, but there’s so many more weird and wonderful things to look forward to on Cryptified!

H'what's up, CREEPS?!

(That feels incredibly good but also incredibly weird to say after all this time)

We're almost exactly a week shy of the launch of our fancy new show, CRYPTIFIED! The show is edited, the theme tune is a BANGER, and the content is - well it's a first episode so - it's great but pardon the growing pains. Also pardon Harley's allergies, she sounds like a cartoon witch for the first 8 minutes or so but - maybe it's appropriate for the Sp00ky Season.

To kick things off, we're super stoked to be talking about a Cryptid we all know and love, and the shows unofficial (and unwilling) mascot: The Mothman. But not the Mothman we're all intensely familiar with - we're talking the Mothman (or MothMEN?) near and dear to our hearts - the Mothman and Flying Winged Humanoids of our hometown Chicago.

We hope you'll all tune in for the pilot episode as we'd love to see a surge right out the gate. The show will (again, if all goes according to plan) post where all your favorite shows live.

As a side note, this page will be rebranded with the new name and imagery to reflect the new show and serve as the new "hub."

Hey all you cool bats and... bittens?

It's been over two years since we last posted and almost three years since our last episode.

A lot has changed; for us, likely for all of you, and definitely for our collective world.

We know that "Horrorfied" came to a close rather suddenly in 2019 and we know that a lot of you were sad about that. We were sad too, but we hope you trust us when we say it was an important step forward for all of us and that it was sort of a "necessary evil" at the time.

We cannot express how much we appreciate the love and friendship that so many of you gave to us over the years and we thought it was appropriate to share some news with all of you here.

Justin and Harley (formerly Ian; it's a long story she'll happily go into if there's any interest) have been working hard behind the scenes to bring something new and fresh to the airwaves after a long hiatus.

"Cryptified" will launch Halloween 2022 and acts as a loving, more mature (we use this term loosely) spiritual successor to Horrorfied.

Every other week, they'll investigate a different cryptid, urban legend, ghost, or ghoul as they trek their way across the continental United States (metaphorically) and the world over to sink their teeth into the hidden beasties that go bump in the night and the pop cultural sensation that is the field of Cryptozoology.

With the help of the occasional special guest, first hand encounters, and oodles of research they hope to figure out if the truth is *really* out there or if it's all just a bunch of hooey (hint: it's not!).

The show will be readily available on your favorite podcast apps and SoundCloud for your listening pleasure.

As far as Producer Xack goes, he also has some exciting news!

His band The Linden Method (one of three!) was recently signed to People of Punk Rock Records and have just released their second full-length record "Grief" which can be streamed anywhere your favorite music is found.

Along with his band mates from Guardrail (two of three!) you can hear him discuss everything from punk music, to why Yoga makes you fart, to what exactly is golf, and much much more on the "Diet Punk Podcast" available now wherever you choose to listen.

Thank you all for your support over the years, and an even bigger thanks to those of you that have continued that support even after Horrorfied closed its' crypt doors for good.

We hope you'll join us in our new endeavors and look forward to what the future holds.

H'whats up, creeps? Long time no talk, at least in that regard.

So, just so y'all are aware, myself, Host Producer Xack Brame (soon to just be HOST Xack, weird right?!), Justin, Sarah, and possimbly a mystery FOURTH cast-mate will be getting together shortly to discuss the relaunch of Horrorfied.

Horrorfied 3.0, so-to-speak.

Until then though, we will be discontinuing paying for pod-hosting via SoundCloud which means at the end of the month, most of the episodes will no longer be available to stream.

So - we're going to open up the opportunity for y'all to download episodes between now and March 31st in case anyone wanted to backlog some favorites.

That said, Horrorfied is not dead. Xack and I are also in talks to create an additional project outside of the Horrorfied universe, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Hint - It's a secret.
