The view from the U.S. is that there is strong reason to believe that both members of Congress and political leaders in Ireland are responsive to U.S. public opinion in this issue, so people here intend to make our voices heard. "For the past two years, we have been waking up to a slow kind of death that quietly took everything we spent our lives building.
after all the loss, grief, and endless exhaustion, we are still here, trying to survive.
my family, my relatives, and I have lost our homes. everything.
We are now lost in our homeland, with nowhere to return, no place we can truly call home. All we have are fragile tents that couldn’t shield us against the rain and the bone chilling winds of winter.
as winter arrives with freezing nights and harsh winds, I am reaching out, not just for my family, but for the many families displaced with us. we urgently need temporary shelters, winter clothing, and basic necessities.

Ceasefire Now!
West Suburban Neighbors for Palestine, Friends of USPCN and other neighbors in the area gathered at Congressman Sean Casten‘s meet and greet to call out his support of the Genocide of Gaza with OUR TAX DOLLARS and refusal to sign onto Cori Bush's resolution to end Israeli War Crimes in Gaza.
Faculty for Justice in Palestine UIC Chapter put together an amazing memorial to all those martyred in Gaza by Israel. Keep in mind this is about half of all those who we know have been killed.
This is a short video of it I filmed yesterday.
