This is the Sacred Affirmation of the Awakened Heart detailed in the book "Sacred Powers" by davidji my meditation master trainer.

Repeat the Sacred Affirmation out loud five times; then whisper it five times; then repeat it silently to yourself for approximately one minute.

Do this for a week and feel the transformation awaken within.

Do you find yourself expecting the worst? Worrying about things you have no control over because you just “know” things won’t go your way?

Research shows that this thinking is a defense mechanism to protect ourselves from disappointment. If we are able to say, “I told you so!” when things go wrong, we are still in control of a situation that is negative. But, can we be IN control without the side of constant “lemons”?

Clinical psychologist Dr. Oliff believes, ‘YES!” In fact, it is beneficial to do so. By trying to keep our optimism down, we’re missing out on the valuable, positive anticipation of events! If you convince yourself something is going to go bad, all the other possible outcomes get blocked out, and all those emotions go away with them!

This probably seems a lot harder than it sounds, but try this mantra when those dark times creep in: “Many of the negative things we predict never actually happen. So why should I give them my energy?”

When is it hardest for you to “make lemonade” or choose optimism? How does it feel to choose happy over sad?
Let's try this.

See that nature survives and thrives with it.
Don't see your challenges today as limitations,
See the outcomes and opportunities and be proud of the work you do.
