Looking across Yosemite Valley from the hike we did to Half Dome on Thursday. Amazing to see how expansive this park is from above the valley! I still don’t know how we make it over there and back smh

Winning the lottery for permits to Half Dome is difficult but nowhere near that of the hike itself! Leave camp at 5am. Hike 8.5 miles to the base of the Dome with 4,500 feet of elevation. Hike back down through limitless switchbacks. Arrive at camp by 7pm completely exhausted but alive to tell about it! 😅
